Discipleship at RMC is designed to go deeper, in Scripture, in community, and in faith.
Discipleship Hour
On Sundays at 9 A.M., we offer age-specific classes for everyone from the nursery through adults. For more information about our discipleship opportunities, email Matt Clegg, matt@redmountainchurch.org.
Nursery (8wks-3yrs)
All 8 weeks- 3 year olds are welcome to join us in the nursery during discipleship hour for free play or naps.
Godly Play
Children ages 3K-3rd grade meet for Bible stories with trained storytellers and doorkeepers. The Biblical accounts are told using story sets that encourage children to engage the way they learn best- through play!
Club 45
Our 4th and 5th graders meet for a Bible survey class. This fall they’ll continue their journey through the New Testament, studying Acts and Romans..
Youth Ministry
Our 6th-7th graders will gather this fall to study chapters 1-10 of the Book of John using the “So What?” curriculum by Great Commission Publications.
Our 8th-9th students will gather this fall for a study of hard questions that people ask of Christianity, working through lessons drawn from Rebecca McLaughlin’s book “Confronting Christianity.” This will be followed by a brief study of biblical sexuality using curriculum from Rooted.
Our 10th-12th graders will begin a study of the Book of Romans using curriculum from Rooted Ministry.
Adults
“Christianity and the Arts”
This fall Matt Clegg and a whole cast of skilled minds and creators will lead discussions on Christianity’s relationship with the arts – both generally and with reference to specific artistic mediums. All adults are welcome.
Women’s & Men’s Ministries
In addition to Sunday morning, we offer other opportunities for discipleship during the week through our women’s and men’s ministries.
Women’s Ministry
The Women’s ministry at RMC offers women the chance to grow deeper in their faith together through seasonal weekly Bible studies, bi-monthly social gatherings, and a few large events throughout the year, including an annual retreat. Men’s Ministry
