1). What is the Avon Theater?
The Avon Theater is the place of Sunday worship for Red Mountain Church. The Theater was built in the early 1900's as a drama theater. In 2007 the theater was renovated by RMC. The Theater is very conducive to private events so RMC now rents the space out from time to time for private events.

3). What does the Theater look like?

4). How many people can the Theater accommodate?
The answer to this question depends on the type of event. The theater can host as many as 450 people for a seated theater style concert or lecture. For seated dinners, the max capacity is approximately 300. For receptions the max capacity is approx 375.

5). What types of events can the theater accommodate?
The Theater can host a wide range of events including concerts, receptions, weddings, parties, fundraisers, dinners, etc...

6). What does it cost to rent the theater?
The price can vary due to many factors. Please contact Jennifer Gowers for an event-specific quote.

7). What is included in the event fee?
The fee typically includes use of the theater for 8 hours, approx 400 chairs and numerous banquet tables (round and rectangular). Again, Jennifer can discuss this with you (see contact info at the top of the page).

8). Are there restrictions and required caterers that must be used for private events?
No, at this time there is no required caterer list. However, we do suggest using licensed catering professionals.

9). What are some other special features of the Theater?

·     The Theater has a warming kitchen that can be used during your event by your caterer.

·     The Theater has a stage that is ideal for a band, a speaker, or to be used as elevated seating.

·     The Theater has a wide variety of lighting options that can be used to accommodate most any event type.

·     The Theater has an outside overflow zone that can be used for additional tables or for outdoor cooking.

·     The surrounding facility has additional small classrooms that may be used (upon request) for your event.
