Within a few miles of Red Mountain, lives all the diversity of Birmingham, Alabama. Here is where the glory and the poverty of the city are mixed together. Southside, Downtown, Highland Avenue, Lakeview, UAB, Homewood, Crestwood, Woodlawn... the list goes on.

Red Mountain Church hopes to be deeply rooted in these few square miles. The people in these sections of the city vary ethnically, economically, and philosophically. Just stand in downtown Birmingham any time day or night, and you will see "the friendless, the sorrowing, the rich, and the poor." This our place!
